I took an interest in photography in the late '70s while attending High School in Greenville, New York. At the time we shot on film and had to develop and print our own photos.
I retired from New York State Department of Corrections, as a Correctional Officer in 2013, after completing 25 years of service. I was 49 years old at the time. A few years before I retired, I started to make plans as to what I want to do after retirement. So, I decided to buy a camera and a few lenses and see if I still had the Love for photography that I had all those years ago.........And I Did.
I started my photography business in 2011. In 2012 and 2013 I was contracted by the City of Albany to shoot the Tulip Festival, all of the Alive at Five concerts, the Jazz Festival, the Father’s Day festival and a 5K run which was done in December. The City of Albany still hires me to shoot specific things for them. (Mayor Kathy Sheehan’s Re-Election PR, The Annual Tulip Ball, etc.)
